Seven top international tobacco control experts are prompting regulators at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to have a broad "open-minded" perspective when it comes to regulating vaporized nicotine products, especially e-cigarettes.
Writing in the journal Addiction, published online April 25, the researchers synthesize much of the evidence published to date on e-cigarettes, and suggest that use of these products can lead to reduced cigarette smoking overall with a potential reduction in deaths from cigarette smoking.

Vaping indoors is “unlikely” to pose any risk to bystanders, according to a research paper carried out by three educational institutions.
Presented at the fourth Workplace and Indoor Aerosols conference in Barcelona, the paper is the first of its kind to show that exhaled e-cigarette particles evaporate within a matter of seconds.

To vape means different things to different people. To vapers in states like Colorado and California, it's a method of smoking weed that is generally considered safer, better, and more appropriate in public. To those in states where grass is illegal, like New York, it's a method of smoking cigarettes that is generally considered safer, better, cheaper, and about equally as appropriate in public.

The vaping industry is breathing a sigh of relief (and, I mean, probably also some vapor) after a congressional committee passed an amendment [that stops the FDA from banning 99% of vaping products available today] that could bolster the industry against pending federal regulations.

What do you get when you combine video selfies and vaping? You would think combining two things you’re sick of hearing about would result in something rather obnoxious, but the video is surprisingly cool. You get a floating ghostly vapor face with well over a million hits on YouTube in less than two days.
