BAT researchers conduct in vitro studies with e-cigarettes and combustible cigarettes to estimate the potential damage on DNA of human epithelial cells. Their results exclude any damage upon e-vapor exposure while cigarette smoke does.

Vaping indoors is “unlikely” to pose any risk to bystanders, according to a research paper carried out by three educational institutions.
Presented at the fourth Workplace and Indoor Aerosols conference in Barcelona, the paper is the first of its kind to show that exhaled e-cigarette particles evaporate within a matter of seconds.

To vape means different things to different people. To vapers in states like Colorado and California, it's a method of smoking weed that is generally considered safer, better, and more appropriate in public. To those in states where grass is illegal, like New York, it's a method of smoking cigarettes that is generally considered safer, better, cheaper, and about equally as appropriate in public.

What do you get when you combine video selfies and vaping? You would think combining two things you’re sick of hearing about would result in something rather obnoxious, but the video is surprisingly cool. You get a floating ghostly vapor face with well over a million hits on YouTube in less than two days.
Senate Amendment 3547, which would prohibit airline passengers from bringing “electronic smoking devices” on planes in their carry-on and checked baggage, will possibly be considered as early as next week (week of April, 11th, 2016). The primary sponsor of SA 3547 is Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), who is an outspoken opponent to e-cigarettes. He has earned a reputation for promoting misinformation about these low-risk products.
